When i got my computer, it came with Dell MusicMatch Jukebox. I liked that program. Something happened and I had to remove it. Now i need a new music player. I want one that can play music, rip and burn cds, etc. I tried the Yahoo! MusicMatch Jukebox, but it wasn’t the same. Since I installed it, any music file or mp4 tries to open in it. It’s like its taking over my music. So I want to try something else.
Any suggestions??
i have a friend online …that would love to hear a song i have. How can i send her the music file to her e-mail..or I M. And would that file has to be from the window media player or musicmatch jukebox…or do it matters. Thank you.

I recently changed from Musicmatch to Yahoo Jukebox. Some of the songs appear twice or even three times in My Music. However, there are not duplicate files stored on the hard drive. It’s pretty tedious to remove them one by one. Is there a way for Jukebox to search for duplicates and delete them automatically? Thanks.

I have two computers, On the one computer Musicmatch jukebox 10.1 works fine but on my other computer i can not get it to start up..I click on it and it starts and plays it start up music and shuts down..any suggestions why this is not working
Ive had Musicmatch and Yahoo Jukebox now for a LONG time. I have the Plus edition so I can burn MP3 CDs. This is by far my fav jukebox and easiest.
I download full albums online to listen before I buy them, if its worth buying Ill buy it. But anyways, some of the albums I download, I CANNOT burn on Yahoo Jukebox. It says the tracks are invalid or corrupt. I dont understand how that is when they play, they just cant be burned. I put the tracks on Real Player, and they CAN burn. Why wont Yahoo Jukebox let me burn them?
Anyways, I was just wondering if there is anything similar to Yahoo Jukebox. And I know the difference between Data CDs and MP3 CDs, and I dont want to burn a Data CD. Trust me Ive been burning MP3 CDs for years, its alot better than Data. I dont wanna pay 40 bucks for RealPlayer Plus either.

As with most sophisticated MP3 player/recorders when you launch Music-Match Juke box, it will ask you if you want it to search through your hard drive, and place all mp3 files into the music-match jukebox music library. If you allow music-match juke-box to do this, not only will it take a LONG time, but it will also add every file with “mp3″ in it’s name.
After that, it’s pretty much clear sailing with Musicmatch juke box. Just double click on the title you want to play, it will be added to the play list, and play automatically when needed, just like a real jukebox. The audio seemed clear enough, with no pops, crackling, hisses or skips.
Musicmatch juke box has added a number of settings for playing, recording, skins, etc., however, there is no equalizer. Not even simple Bass and Treble controls, which is weird. In my mind, this is one of the problems of the musicmatch juke box.
Musicmatch juke box is a decent player, and Musicmatch juke box is also a very good mp3 recorder. It uses a very simple interface, and is quite simple even for a neophyte to rip their CD’s to a hard drive. The Musicmatch juke box also gives you full control of your ID tags, to control the names and other info when you see them on a screen.
One of the main marketing techniques Musicmatch juke box uses, is downloading music. Unfortunately, to find music for Musicmatch juke box, you have to go through an external website, which isn’t simple to navigate, and even harder to find the music you are looking for.
All in all, I think Yahoo made a smart decision partnering with MusicMatch and acquiring Musicmatch juke box, it stands to put them in the running for one of the top MP3 software packages.
